Terry A. Manies, M.Phil. is the driving force behind IDEAL Strategies LLC. She has been a communication professional for more than twenty years, applying her unique skills to effective campaigns in a host of fields.

After growing up in Pasadena, California, Terry spent her 20s happily living in and traveling around northern Europe as a research archeologist. She taught writing and composition at two institutions of higher education, is a professionally published author, and has produced an extremely eclectic body of work.  

Today this "city kid" lives on a small patch of prairie outside Lawrence, Kansas.  She shares earth and sky with her husband and a herd of misfit animals, including one spoiled-rotten munchkin cat and a cranky 24-year-old parrot.
